Dismantle.Rediscover.Rebuild
For the ambitious woman in matrescence. Rebuild yourself first — everything else follows.
1:1 coaching for the mother who is still ambitious — and quietly trying to find herself underneath all of it.
It usually happens in the dark.
You're feeding her, or you've just put her down, or you're staring at the ceiling at 2am — and a thought you've been holding off all day finally lands.
I don't know who I am anymore.
Not in a dramatic way. In a quiet, disorienting way. The version of you who ran the meeting, hit the number, built the thing — she feels far away, and you're not sure if you miss her or you're glad she's gone. Maybe both. Probably both.
It shows up in smaller moments too. The school form that asks for your occupation. The friend who asks what you're working on these days. The text from your old colleague you read three times before answering, fine, busy, all good. Each one lands somewhere you can't quite name.
The hardest part isn't the loss. It's that no one around you has language for it. So you keep performing fine.
You don't need to perform here.
You don't have to know yet.
We start where you are.
The Matrescence Map
There's a name for what you're inside of.
It's called matrescence — the becoming of a mother. Like adolescence, it's an identity transformation, not a moment. It rewires you physically, emotionally, hormonally, and existentially.
Most women try to skip it. Push through. Optimize. Rebuild a faster version of their old life with a baby in it. It almost never works.
The work I do walks you through three phases, on purpose, in order.
Dismantle
The honest unraveling. Letting go of the identity, the metrics, and the inherited ideas of success that no longer fit the woman you're becoming. This phase is grief — and it's progress.
Rediscover
The quiet return. Getting still enough to hear your own voice underneath the noise of performance, expectation, and comparison. Less prescription. More mirror.
Rebuild
The intentional build. Designing a life — and eventually a rhythm, a body of work, maybe a business — that fits the woman you've actually become. Slow, sovereign, yours.
You don't have to do this in the dark.
How We Work Together
This is 1:1 coaching for women who want to be deeply known and gently strategized — not just supported, not just challenged. Both.
Over three months, we walk through your phase of the Matrescence Map and beyond. We name what you're losing. We listen for what's underneath. We build what's next on your terms — not a faster version of your old life.
I bring two things to this work — lived experience and method.
I built a career in a fast-moving, high-output world. I'm a stay-at-home mother now. I've done the unraveling. I'm not theorizing.
I'm certified through iPEC and trained in the Core Energy Coaching™ methodology. I'm an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation — with over 100 hours of paid client work behind me. The work has structure. Not improvisation.
But mostly, I bring you somewhere quiet enough to hear yourself.
What our sessions feel like Not a worksheet, not a pep talk. A real conversation that goes somewhere — slow when it needs to be, sharp when it's time. You leave clearer than you came.
What I'll ask of you between sessions Less than you'd think. Usually one prompt or one small experiment a week. The work isn't volume. It's depth.
How we'll know it's working You'll start hearing your own voice underneath the noise. Decisions will get easier. The 2am thoughts will quiet — not because you've solved everything, but because you've named it.
What changes (and what doesn't) Your circumstances may not shift in three months. Your relationship to them will.
Inside the Work
Twelve sessions over three months. Fifty minutes each. We meet weekly or bi-weekly depending on your rhythm — because real life.
Voxer, text, or email — whatever feels easiest. When something lands at 6:42pm and you need to say it out loud, that's what I'm here for.
A private digital workbook, built around the Matrescence Map. We use it together; you keep it forever.
Two spots open at a time. This is intentional. Depth, not volume.
By application. Because the right fit matters more to me than the calendar.
Investment: $2,500 USD. Paid in full (15% discount) or three monthly payments.
A pre-work intake. Before our first session, you'll fill out a short reflection that helps me meet you where you are.
Session notes and recordings. You'll have everything to revisit between sessions — and after.
Start with a Clarity Session
Start with a Clarity Session — a single 90-minute conversation, $220 USD.
We sit with one specific knot you're untangling — an identity question, a decision you keep circling, a season you can't quite name. You leave with language for where you are and what's underneath it.
It's not a sales call. It's the work.
In Their Words
I couldn’t have asked for a better coach to get me focused, organized and mentally prepared for a big moment in my life. Emma was patient, asked the right questions and provided so many tricks and tips that left me feeling confident and capable!!
Janne
I thoroughly enjoy engaging with Emma in conversations for all things personal and professional! Her attentive listening, intelligence, and uplifting nature never fails to ignite my enthusiasm. I can always count on her for words of support and encouragement!
Alison
Working with Emma gave me the clarity and confidence I needed to finally pursue something for myself. After years of raising my kids, I was ready to start a real estate business—but felt unsure where to begin. Emma helped me reconnect with my goals, quiet the self-doubt, and take action. Her support was both grounding and empowering, and now I’m building a business I’m truly proud of.
Nicole
Emma has been an amazing source of support for me both personally and professionally. She constantly inspires me to be the best version of myself - pushing me to be curious and always committed to self-growth. I’m so grateful our paths have crossed!
Elysia
I have had the absolute pleasure of working alongside Emma in the tech space for nearly five years and counting. Emma never fails to be a consistently present, thoughtful, and motivating mentor/ peer role model in my life and I am so grateful to have crossed paths with this amazing woman.
Meg
Working with Emma was the turning point I didn't know I needed. I'd spent years in a government role I'd outgrown, but motherhood made me pause long enough to ask what I actually wanted next. Emma helped me untangle the guilt, name what mattered, and build a real plan to launch my own consulting business — on terms that work for my family. I left a stable job. I'm building something that's mine. I wouldn't have done it without her.

Matrescence is the developmental transition into motherhood — physical, emotional, hormonal, and identity-based. It's the most under-named transformation in adult life. Most coaching for mothers skips it. This work names it directly because that's where the real shift lives.
-
Life coaching is a collaborative partnership between a trained professional (the coach) and an individual (the client) seeking personal growth, clarity, and goal achievement. Coaches help clients identify their values, strengths, and aspirations, and then support them in creating actionable plans to achieve their desired outcomes.
-
While therapy or counseling often focus on healing past wounds and addressing psychological issues, life coaching primarily focuses on the present and future. Coaches work with clients to identify goals, overcome obstacles, and take purposeful action to create a more fulfilling and successful life.
-
The framework is built around matrescence, but the underlying arc — dismantling an old identity, rediscovering yourself, rebuilding intentionally — applies to many transitions. If the language here resonates, the Clarity Session is the right way to test fit.
-
No. Most of my clients arrive in Dismantle or Rediscover — pre-clarity. That's the work. If you already know what you want to build, we move into Rebuild together. If you don't, we find it.
-
Life coaching can benefit individuals in numerous ways. It provides a supportive environment for personal growth, helps clarify goals and aspirations, enhances self-awareness, develops effective strategies for overcoming challenges, improves decision-making skills, and increases motivation and accountability.
-
Most of my clients begin with a 12-week (3-month) commitment, which gives us space to build momentum, go deep, and create meaningful change. After that, some continue month-to-month or book single sessions as needed.
There’s no pressure to go beyond what feels aligned—we’ll check in regularly to make sure the support fits your season and goals. -
During our coaching sessions, we will focus on using the The Core Energy Coaching ™ framework which was created by Bruce D Schneider, Ph.D., MCC (and what iPEC uses as their foundation).
Core Energy Coaching ™ is a methodology focused on getting to the root (or “core”) of an individual’s challenges by identifying and shifting inner thoughts, beliefs, and emotions that block a client’s success.
