You’re not lost—you’re evolving.

You’ve outgrown old versions of yourself, and now you’re searching for what’s next—something that feels more you. That’s not a breakdown. That’s a beginning.

I write for…

The woman who's outgrown a version of herself and isn't sure who's next. She might be a former corporate high-performer in early motherhood. She might be a creative who's burning out in the name of passion. She might just be up at 2am wondering why the life she built doesn't quite fit anymore.

If that's you, you're in the right place.

I believe…

Ambition doesn't have to be rejected — it has to be refined. You can stay driven without hustling. Dismantling what no longer fits is progress, not failure. You're allowed to want more and want stillness at the same time.

I love…

Watching a woman remember her own voice. Holding space for unhurried, honest conversations. Being proof that a slow, sovereign build is not a lesser build. The tiny moments with my daughter that remind me why this matters.

About Emma

I'm an ICF-certified coach (CPC, ACC), creative, and mom in the middle of my own matrescence.

If you're navigating motherhood, a career pivot, or the quiet pull toward something more — I'm here. Not with a ten-step plan. With the space to hear yourself clearly enough to take the next honest step.

5 Quick Facts About Me

I’m an ICF-certified life coach (CPC, ACC) trained through iPEC—aka the #1 ICF-accredited coaching program—and I’m here to support women who are craving clarity, calm, and something that finally feels like theirs.

I believe slow is powerful. Some of my best ideas come during nap time, on walks, or while folding laundry.

I’m a first time mom and deeply passionate about helping women build lives that work with motherhood, not around it.

Real life > curated life. My coaching blends strategy and heart, but always leaves room for the messy middle.

  1. I’m completely obsessed with sewing and creating. From dainty intimates to stuffed animals, I’ve sewn it all—and dream of one day teaching sewing classes in a cozy, light-filled studio.

  2. I’m a slow morning, voice-memo kind of girl. I’d happily wake up at 4 a.m. to sip coffee in the quiet than stay up late. Motherhood changed everything for me—it softened me, grounded me, and gave me a new rhythm I now fiercely protect.

  3. I dream of growing a whimsical, overflowing flower garden. Peonies, dahlias, daffodils—you name it. I imagine myself tending to blooms each morning, with dirt on my hands and joy in my chest.

I’ve started four businesses—from handmade goods to tech to coaching—so I know what it means to pivot, start over, and dream big.

and a few fun facts…

How it all started…

I’ve always been deeply curious. As a little girl, I asked a million questions and wanted to understand everything—and that part of me never went away. I’ve always been someone who looks deeper, feels deeply, and seeks meaning in the mess.

Like many, my story includes both light and shadow. I come from a family shaped by divorce and addiction. I’ve walked through experiences of sexual assault, miscarriage, and loss. Each of these moments left their mark—but they also revealed my strength and shaped my desire to support others through their own healing and growth.

After struggling academically early in life, I eventually found my stride in university and pursued a traditional path—thinking success meant something stable, like becoming a CPA. I landed a job at PricewaterhouseCoopers, but it didn’t take long to realize it wasn’t the right fit. With the support of my parents—especially my dad, who introduced me to my first coach—I began exploring new paths and discovered the world of coaching through The Careerfinder Program. That experience changed everything. It gave me language for my gifts, permission to explore what lit me up, and the clarity to keep going.

What followed was a successful 8-year career in high-growth SaaS, where I eventually became a Director leading a team of 15. I loved many parts of it—but I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing. My creativity, my intuition, my desire to connect more deeply with people… all of it felt boxed in.

So, I did what I always do—I followed my curiosity. I built a side business called Glo, focused on helping people align purpose with career satisfaction. But in the process, I completely burned out. I found myself advocating for engagement and well-being while living out of alignment myself. That wake-up call forced me to rethink everything.

I also had Emma Lyn Essentials—a creative handmade brand I poured myself into. What started as a passion project became yet another version of hustle. I turned something that once brought me joy into another to-do list, and eventually found myself resenting the very thing that was supposed to be “just for me.” It was a reminder that fulfillment doesn’t come from doing more—it comes from doing what actually feels aligned.

Then Violet came into my life—and that changed everything in an even deeper way.

Motherhood cracked me open in ways I never expected. It slowed me down, made me more reflective, and called me to be even more honest about how I wanted to live. I realized I could no longer wait to follow my dream of becoming a coach. I wasn’t going back to the 9–5—I wanted to build something real, present, and purposeful. For myself. For my daughter. And for the women I’m meant to support.

And that’s how I got here.

My wakeup moment…

There are moments in life that shake us to our core—rearranging our beliefs, redefining our values, and redirecting the path we’re walking. For me, one of those moments came after experiencing a miscarriage. The months that followed—particularly after my D&C—were heavy with grief, reflection, and a quiet but persistent voice urging me to finally choose a new direction. That’s when I made the decision to enroll in iPEC and begin my journey to becoming a certified life coach—something I’d considered for years, but never fully allowed myself to pursue.

For a long time, I felt unfulfilled in my career. I had success on paper, but I felt disconnected from my purpose. I’d dipped my toes into creative entrepreneurship through Emma Lyn Essentials, but even that became another version of hustle—leaving little room for joy. The one thing I did love? Sharing my story, supporting other women, and helping them start their own thing. That piece never left me.

Then, everything changed again—slowly, softly—when Violet was born.

Becoming a mother cracked me open in a way I never saw coming. It was beautiful and overwhelming and transformative. And in that transformation, I realized: I wasn’t the same woman I was before. I couldn’t go back to the life I had. I wouldn’t return to a 9–5. I had to find a way to build the life I truly wanted—not someday, but now.

As I navigated early motherhood, I continued doing the inner work I’d started years earlier. Through coaching, I had already experienced the power of being seen, challenged, and supported. I had gained clarity, unearthed strengths I didn’t know I had, and slowly learned to trust myself. Coaching gave me the courage to step into the life I was meant for—and now, I want to offer that to other women.

This awakening lit a fire in me: to help women who are in the in-between. Who feel like they’ve outgrown one version of themselves but aren’t sure how to step into the next. Who are craving clarity, presence, and purpose—especially in the midst of motherhood or major life transitions.

I’m here to help you reconnect with who you are, what you want, and where you're going—so you can build a life that feels true to you.

These days, I coach from home…

Often during nap time. Sometimes after Violet is tucked in for the night. I coach around the rhythm of motherhood — because I'm living it too. But when our session begins, it's just us. Fully present. Uninterrupted.

That's the reminder I keep coming back to: transformation doesn't require perfect conditions. It just needs space, support, and the courage to begin.

In each session, I walk alongside women as they reconnect with themselves, find clarity inside the noise, and take the next honest step toward a life that actually feels like theirs.

Whether that step is starting something new, navigating motherhood, or simply figuring out what's next — watching a client move from uncertainty to confidence is why I do this work.

It's also why I only take two clients at a time. Depth over volume. So when we meet, you have my full attention — never a divided one.

If you're ready for a new chapter, I'd be honored to walk it with you.
